Before I started using this
insanely great authoring tool called
RapidWeaver, I used to use a mix of
NVU (an admirable open source
DreamWeaver analogue) and
iBlog for my web stuff. iBlog Backup is
an AppleScript I wrote one weekend after thinking it
was a pain to back up your iBlog files, more as an
intellectual geeky challenge. It rated a few
mentions on some mainstream sites and got a couple
thousand downloads, but more importantly to me, it
rescued the blogs a few people may have otherwise lost
(and they were kind enough to let me know.)
That just made my day.
iBlog these days is AllGrowedUp™ at version 2 and has its
own internal backup mechanism, but just in case you still
use iBlog 1.x, you're welcome to use this if you find it of
-er- use. :-)
You'll find the original page
here, brace for impact; it's a white
background page from my old site.
